This Privacy Policy describes how The Dev Desk LLC ("we," "our," or "us") handles information related to the Mabuhay Mahjong mobile application ("App").

Information We Collect

Single-player Mahjong can be played without linking a Google or Apple sign-in account. The App may use an anonymous guest account and installation identifiers to support game services, virtual currency, and abuse prevention. Playing as a guest does not mean that all information stays on your device.

Depending on the features you use and their availability, we process the following information:

• Account information: account identifiers, sign-in provider information, and an email address when supplied by your sign-in provider. Sign in with Apple may supply a private relay email address instead of your personal email address.
• Game and cloud-save information: saved progress, gameplay statistics, preferences, virtual coin balances, rewards, and records of game or wallet transactions.
• Online profile and social information: your chosen alias and avatar, friend relationships and requests, invitations, privacy preferences, and online presence when these features are available and used.
• Multiplayer information: room membership, player actions, game state, results, and connection or timeout information needed to operate online games.
• Purchase information: store transaction identifiers or purchase tokens, product identifiers, purchase and refund status, and account-linked multiplayer unlock records.
• Technical and service information: installation or device identifiers, app-integrity verification information, IP addresses, and operational logs associated with service requests, errors, and abuse prevention. Where device notifications are available and enabled, we also process notification registration tokens to deliver game invitations or related alerts.
• Support information: your email address and any information you choose to provide when contacting us.

How We Use Information

We use information to authenticate accounts; save and synchronize game data; maintain virtual currency and rewards; operate multiplayer, profiles, friends, and invitations; verify purchases and restores; process refunds or revoked purchases; deliver requested notifications; respond to support requests; and protect the App against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.

Local Storage and Cloud Services

The App stores game data and preferences locally on your device. It also uses Firebase and Google Cloud services for authentication, server-side game and wallet records, cloud synchronization, and online functionality. Data used by these services is transmitted to and stored on servers, rather than exclusively on your device.

Some online features may be unavailable until production services are activated or during maintenance. The descriptions in this policy apply when the relevant features are available and used; temporary unavailability does not prevent other account, game-service, or advertising data processing.

Profiles, Friends, and Multiplayer

When online features are available, your alias and selected avatar may be visible to other players through player lookup, friend requests, invitations, and games. Relevant game actions and results are shared with participants to operate the table. Friends may see presence or invitation information according to the App's available privacy controls. Your sign-in email address is not intended to be your public player identity.

Purchases

Apple App Store and Google Play process purchases and code redemption. We receive purchase information needed to verify ownership, associate an unlock with a game account, restore access, and handle refunds or revocations. We do not receive your full payment-card number from these stores. The stores handle payment details under their own privacy policies.

Advertising

Mabuhay Mahjong uses Google AdMob to provide rewarded advertisements.

Google and its advertising partners may collect certain information to deliver and measure advertisements. This information may include device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP addresses, approximate location, and ad interaction data.

Google Privacy Policy

Advertising data collection and personalization depend on your device, region, consent choices, and the advertising services' settings. Optional rewarded advertisements still involve processing by advertising providers when you choose to view them.

Children's Privacy

Mabuhay Mahjong is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe personal information has been provided to us by a child, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following services, as applicable to your platform and the features you use:

• Google AdMob (Rewarded Advertising)
• Firebase and Google Cloud (Authentication, Cloud Data, Game Services, App Integrity, and Notifications)
• Google Sign-In on Android and Sign in with Apple on iOS
• Google Play and Apple App Store (Purchases, Redemption, and Restore)

These providers process information to supply their services. Other players receive the limited profile and game information described above, not access to your private account records. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or the protection of legal rights.

Data Retention and Account Deletion

Account and game records are retained to provide the features you use. You can request account deletion through the App's account/profile panel using Delete Account. You may need to sign in again to confirm your identity. You can also contact support@thedevdesk.com for assistance with a deletion request.

Account deletion removes the account and associated cloud records handled by the deletion process. Some operational logs, backups, de-identified purchase-revocation records, or information required for security or legal purposes may remain according to the applicable service's retention practices. Deleting the App from your device alone does not delete your cloud account, and account deletion does not automatically refund a store purchase or erase records held by Apple, Google, or advertising providers.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information associated with the App. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your Privacy Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights related to information collected by advertising providers. You may manage advertising preferences through your device settings and available privacy controls provided by Google.

You can choose not to link a sign-in account, decline optional rewarded advertisements, manage available friend and invitation privacy settings, and control notification permissions through your device settings. These choices may limit the corresponding features but do not eliminate processing needed for guest game services or security.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information. Contact us using the address below to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page along with a revised "Last Updated" date.
